Dr. Sud chose to become a physician so that she could make a positive impact in the lives of patients and their families. She became a gastroenterologist because that medical specialty combines all aspects of medicine and treats patients with many different medical problems. She loves to be able to use both her hands and mind to help her patients.

Dr. Sud points to her mother as having the greatest influence on her life. Her mother’s devotion and dedication to her family, along with her honesty, perseverance, patience, and hard-working nature made her a great role model.

In her spare time, Dr. Sud enjoys reading, exercise and cooking.
